The Connecticut Master Naturalist Program is supported by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the Connecticut Forest & Park Association. The mission of the program is to develop a diverse community of naturalists and to promote stewardship of Connecticut's natural resources through education and service. The Master Naturalist program is also supported by the Friends of Goodwin Forest, the volunteer arm of the Conservation Center.
